For us, best means most – prompt cash for fast, efficient and professional customer service. OLMET's scrap metal price list is continuously corrected on the basis of current scrap metal price quotations in Poland and abroad relying on price indexes taking into account the prices of the largest Polish steel mills and plants processing non-ferrous metals.
Due to the dynamic market situation related to frequent fluctuations of scrap metal prices on the stock exchange, OLMET updates its price list with a frequency of 1 month according to the contracting of prices in Polish steel mills. Scrap purchase prices for individual customers and wholesale suppliers are quoted according to the price of the day.

Car scrapping prices vary depending on whether the customer brings the complete vehicle directly to one of our branches or has it collected by our roadside assistance service. Olmet pays for car scrapping in cash, straight away!
For the lack of individual elements of the car, we deduct respectively:
- 0,05 zł/kg
every single bodywork component missing
- 0,10 zł/kg
no battery
- 0,20 zł/kg
no engine
- 0,10 zł/kg
no gearbox
- 0,05 zł/kg
no wheel
Scrapping of an Aixam-type “driverless” car - settled at zero value.
For trucks with vehicle curb weight up to 3.5 tonnes and car bodies made of non-ferrous materials such as a refrigeratored car, shop, horse trailer, etc. - we deduct 20%-50% of pollutants.
The minimum weight of the vehicle is 60% of the weight stated in the registration certificate. If the weight is less than 60%, a surcharge of PLN 1.00/kg applies up to 100% of the vehicle's weight (can be supplemented with scrap metal). The above prices for scrapping cars do not constitute an offer within the meaning of the Civil Code due to the possibility of their change in less than 1 day.
